the Hair Studio's website is a nice example of a small site designed for maximum impact. It is both simple and visually interesting, and very search-friendly.

the Hair Studio wanted a website to establish their presence in search results, and they wanted their site to appeal to more than just mobile users, so we went with three pages instead of one long scrolly one, and we limited the size of the photos on the top so they don't take over the screen if someone is using their laptop to look up a price or service on the Salon Services menu.

The site design and content were a collaboration. Josie selected the images and the background was inspired by the salon physical location. The way the menu resizes itself to fit the screen is a work of art. You can tell this is a custom site just by how nicely the banner and the text formatting adapts itself to the different screen sizes.
